Quando se fala de física na música, a primeira dúvida que surge é “Mas o que é som?”. Som é a propagação de uma onda mecânica, ou seja, qualquer variação de pressão que o ouvido possa detectar. Algo sem sentido, importância... até mesmo algo completamente fora da realidade.
Um fractal é um objeto cuja geometria se repete infinitamente em porções menores, semelhantes ao próprio objeto. A isso, dá-se o nome de autossimilaridade.
